As women, we often struggle with patience and the desire for instant gratification. We want everything to happen quickly and on our timeline, but sometimes, God has different plans for us. In Deuteronomy 7:22, Moses reminds the Israelites that God will drive out their enemies little by little, so that the wild animals won't multiply too quickly.
What does this mean for us? It means that God's timing is perfect and His protection is always at work, even when we can't see it. Sometimes, we might not understand why things aren't happening as quickly as we want them to, but we can trust that God is working behind the scenes, preparing the way for us.
When we receive everything we want all at once, it can lead to negative consequences like pride, lack of self-control, selfishness, and overconfidence. God knows this, which is why He often works little by little in our lives to keep us humble and reliant on Him.
So if you're feeling stuck or like nothing is happening in your life, remember that God is protecting you and working things out for your good. Trust in His timing, and keep seeking Him. He will fulfill His promises to you, little by little, according to His perfect plan.
